This recipe is from the 50s (so full fat, full sugar = full goodness).
You will need...
– 1 cup butter
– 2 cups of sugar
– 3 cups flour
– 3 tsp baking powder
– 3 tsp vanilla extract
– 4 eggs
– ½ cup milk
Mix the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add 2 eggs and mix, then add the rest. Add flour gradually, then baking powder, vanilla, and milk.
Best if the batter is poured in a bundt cake mold.
Bake at 350 F for 1 hour. Serves three for about two or three days (in my experience!).
